What is Samsung Care+ and how does it work?Samsung Care+ is Samsung’s insurance service that covers unlimited accidental damage for Samsung Galaxy smartphones, tablets, wearables and laptops - with the option to add loss and theft cover. You can choose Monthly Pay or pay upfront but either way you have the flexibility to cancel cover at any time.

What does Samsung Care+ cover?Samsung Care+ includes worldwide cover for:
• Unlimited Samsung certified repairs for screen damage and other damage (including liquid)
• Mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer’s warranty
• Battery replacement at no extra charge if capacity is under 80%
• Walk-in or send-in repair with priority service
For extra peace of mind, Samsung Care+ with loss & theft is available, which covers up to 2 replacements in any 12 months if your device is lost or stolen. -
Does Samsung Care+ cover cracked screens?Yes. Samsung Care+ covers accidental screen damage, including cracked or shattered screens, subject to the terms, conditions, and excess fee payable for your device, in your country. There is no limit on the number of claims you can make for unlimited damage.

Does Samsung Care+ cover lost or stolen devices?Samsung Care+ with Theft & Loss covers lost or stolen devices. It is available for smartphones, tablets and watches, but not laptops. Claims are subject to the terms, conditions, and excess fee payable for your device, in your country. You can make up to 2 claims in any 12-month period for loss and theft of your device.
You must activate Knox Guard within 30 days of buying Samsung Care+ with Theft & Loss for a mobile or tablet, otherwise cover will be cancelled. Knox Guard is only used to block your device once a claim is accepted to protect your data and prevent fraudulent use. -
How much does Samsung Care+ cost in Europe?Samsung Care+ pricing varies based on:
• Your Samsung Galaxy Model
• The cover you have selected (Samsung Care+ or Samsung Care+ with Theft & Loss)
• The Plan you have selected (Monthly Plan or 2 Year Plan)

Does Samsung Care+ use genuine manufacturer parts and authorised repairs?Yes. All Samsung Care+ repairs use original Samsung parts and are carried out in Samsung Authorised Service Centres.

Will my device Warranty still be valid after I make a claim?Yes. If your device is still within its original warranty period, a repair under Samsung Care+ will not invalidate that warranty.

Can I buy Samsung Care+ after purchasing my device?Yes. You can add Samsung Care+ when buying your device from Samsung.com or a Samsung Experience Store or within 60 days of buying an eligible device from Samsung or one of our operator, retailer or online partners (via Settings on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet, or via samsung.com for any eligible device).

How long does a Samsung Care+ repair take?Repair times may vary by country and whether you choose walk-in or send-in repair service. Repairs may be completed same day in our walk-in repair locations, but send-in repair takes a little longer. We aim to repair and return your device within 3-5 days. We will update you throughout the repair process so you know what’s happening and when your device is ready for collection / on its way back to you.

Will I receive a replacement device?If your device is lost, stolen or we cannot repair it, then we will replace it, subject to the terms, conditions, and excess fee payable for your device. Replacement devices may come from Samsung refurbished stock.

Is there an excess fee or service fee for Samsung Care+ claims?You have to pay an excess fee to complete an approved claim for repair or replacement of your device. You can check the excess fee for your device at samsung.com

Can I cancel Samsung Care+?You can cancel Samsung Care+ at any time online or by phone. For Monthly Plans, cover will finish at the end of the paid month. For 2 Year Plan, refunds are based on the time since purchase and whether any claim has been completed. You can find details at samsung.com and in your terms and conditions.

Can Samsung Care+ be transferred to a new device?Samsung Care+ is linked to your device and cannot be transferred to any other person or device.

How do I know if I need it?The decision to take cover needs to be based on your individual circumstances and needs. Consider how you use your device, if you prefer a predictable cost of repair or are worried about the risk of having to pay to repair or replace a damaged device. You should also check if you’re already covered by another policy (like home insurance or with your bank account). Whatever your decision, check the cover and terms to make sure you have what you need.
If you add Samsung Care+ and change your mind, you can cancel cover within the first 30 days and you will receive a full refund of any premium paid (provided you haven’t completed a claim in that time). -
What’s the difference between Samsung’s warranty and Samsung Care+?When you buy your device, it comes with a standard manufacturer warranty that covers you in the event of electrical or mechanical breakdown in the warranty period.
Samsung Care+ covers your device for unlimited repairs for accidental damage and breakdown after the manufacturer warranty period, (and loss & theft if added).
